When was Veidekke founded?

Who are the largest shareholders in Veidekke?
The four major shareholders in Veidekke at 31 December 2009 are OBOS Forretningsbygg AS (28.0%), IF Skadeforsikring AB (8.7%) and Folketrygdfondet (7.3%). Which are the flagging rules that apply for the Veidekke share?
The purpose of flagging rules is to notify the share market when major shareholders buys or sells shares. The obligation to submit flagging announcements occurs when passing 1/20, 1/10, 1/5, 1/3, ½, 2/3, 9/10. This means that announcements must be submitted both when an investor is buying up from e.g. 4 per cent to 6 percent and when the investor is selling down from 6 percent to 4 percent.
Does Veidekke have share program for its employees?
Yes. Veidekke is very positive to employee ownership. At end of 2009, the total shareholdings of 3,300 employees were 19 per cent of the shares in the company. Veidekke endeavours each year to give all employees the opportunity to purchase Veidekke shares at a discount on the market price. The target is that at least half of the company’s employees shall be shareholders with a total ownership share of up to 15 per cent. Employees in senior management positions (about 550 employees) are expected to hold a significant number of shares each in the company.

Dividends
What is Veidekke’s dividend goal?
Veidekke’s dividend goal is that at least 50 per cent of the company’s profit for the year be distributed to the shareholders. Read more about dividends here.
When is the dividend decided?
Dividends are announced upon presentation of the result for the year in February. The amount is subject to approval by the Annual General Meeting at the beginning of May.
Who are entitled to dividends and when are the dividends distributed?
Dividends are distributed once a year. In addition to this, any extraordinary dividends will be distributed. Shareholders registered on the date of the Annual General Meeting are entitled to dividends. Dividends will be paid approximately 11 days after the Annual General Meeting. How much will the dividend be for the financial year 2008?
For the financial year 2008 a dividend of NOK 2.5 per share was given.The dividend was decided on the Annual General Meeting 7 May 2009. Dividends for the financial year 2008 was paid 20 May 2009.
What is tax deducted at source?
For foreign shareholders in countries that have a tax agreement with Norway, a 15 per cent tax is deducted before dividends are paid out. In countries without tax agreement, the tax rate is 25 percent.
How high is the dividend tax rate?
Tax on dividends amounts to a rate of maximum 28 per cent, but in practice it is a bit lower because of a stipulated risk free return allowance. This amount is allocated to all Norwegian shareholders, based on cost price multiplied by risk free return rate, stipulated annually. All dividends which exceed the risk free return allowance amount are taxed by a rate of 28 per cent.
