“We are so grateful to Nåbo for this commission and are looking forward to getting started on construction works after the summer. Gartneritaket is one of the biggest housing projects in Vestby. Its location is very central, meaning that areas for outdoor pursuits, schools, kindergartens, the Vestby Storsenter mall and the railway station are all on the doorstep. The apartments included in the second phase of construction range from one to four rooms in size and will have areas of 25–93 m2. The basement will offer parking for cars and bicycles, while the roof garden will serve as a meeting place for residents featuring a heated conservatory with kitchen facilities and a communal table. Parklets including fruit trees on both the roof and behind the building will help to bolster the living environment.

Construction will begin in September with completion scheduled for the first half of 2027. The contract is included in Veidekke's order book for Q2 2025.
