- We are very pleased that Nordr has now called off the final construction phase at Grønvollkvartalet. The project has been a great sales success, and for us as a contractor it means a lot to be able to build the project in continuity and at a high pace. With this order, this will be the largest ongoing apartment project in Norway, and we are proud that we are getting to build it, says Department Manager Kaare Gilhus at Veidekke Bygg Oslo.
The third construction phase contains 172 apartments and four to five commercial premises, divided into two blocks that vary from six to eight floors above ground. Both buildings will have shared roof terraces for the residents and footbridges over to the neighboring buildings. Veidekke's assignment also includes building a pedestrian and cycle path that will be handed over to the Urban Environment Agency in the Municipality of Oslo.
Construction work will start shortly with planned phased handover from the end of 2027 to the summer of 2028. Read more about the project here.
The contract is included in Veidekke's order book for Q4 2025.
