“We are grateful for the renewed trust and for being given the honour of constructing the final major building phase in Skårerbyen. Together with the Selvaag Bolig team, we have developed the homes from the very beginning, and we now look forward to continuing the strong collaboration established in the previous construction phase,” says Morten Barreth, Head of Department at Veidekke Building Oslo.
The buildings Veidekke will construct range from four to eight storeys and form a horseshoe shape surrounding a shared outdoor courtyard featuring landscaping, play areas and communal spaces for residents. The apartments range in size from 35 to 122 m², and ground-floor areas are prepared for commercial use. The basement level will include parking spaces, storage rooms and technical rooms. Residents will also have access to a neighbourhood concept with a range of shared facilities and communal areas on the rooftops and within the surrounding area.
“This final construction phase has been well received by buyers. Sales have been strong, and the next sales release is approaching. We are very pleased to continue our cooperation with Veidekke,” says Line Wegger, Project Director at Selvaag Bolig.
Construction has already started, with planned handover scheduled for the second half of 2027 and the first half of 2028.
The contract will be included in Veidekke’s order book for the fourth quarter of 2025.
