To build homes for Selvaag in Lørenskog

Veidekke Entreprenør has been handed the contract to build the Søster Mathildes gate 27/29 project in Lørenskog. The contract involves building 66 flats in two buildings. Selvaag Bolig ASA is principal, and the buildings will be built under a turnkey contract. The value of the contract is NOK 101 million excluding VAT.

The project is a part of Vestparken, which is a major development with lawns, plants, paths, playgrounds and parks. It is located close to Lørenskog Storsenter at the centre of Lørenskog municipality, 15 minutes from the centre of Oslo and less than 10 minutes from Lillestrøm.

"The 66 flats are in two buildings from five to six storeys over a joint parking facility with lifts directly to the flats. Flats vary in size from 1 bedroom flats with a 45 sqm gross area to spacious 3 bedroom flats with a 129 sqm gross area. The sale of the flats is well under way, and building is expected to start in Q1 2015," says head of department Odd Arne Lian of Veidekke.

The buildings will have pile foundations directly on bedrock. They will be built in prefabricated concrete and steel with façades of brick, wood, sheets and glass/windows.
