Kv. Påsen 1, originally a bag factory which currently comprises offices, was built in 1955, in an industrial area that was developed in stages in the 1930s, -40s and -50s. The property will now be upgraded and expanded to approx. 12,600 m2 of modern office premises, designed to meet the wishes and requirements of tomorrow’s workplace. Upon completion, the building will be certified in accordance with BREEAM Bespoke level Excellent.
In the project's first phase, Arcona and Fabege started building design and production preparations, and are now moving on to phase 2.
“We are very much looking forward to developing Kv. Påsen 1 with Arcona. Hammarby Sjöstad is a lively and welcoming district. With Arcona's contributions, the property will, in its new form, add both to the cityscape and to the contents of the site,” says Stefan Windefalk, director of project renovation at Fabege.
