Veidekke: Daniel Kjørberg Siraj resigns from the board of directors

Daniel Kjørberg Siraj, board member of Veidekke and CEO of OBOS, today informed Veidekke that he is resigning from the company’s board of directors.

In December 2022, OBOS announced the purchase of a 6.5 per cent share of the Swedish construction company NCC. In connection with this purchase, NCC’s nomination committee has nominated Daniel Kjørberg Siraj to serve on the company's board of directors. The election will take place at NCC’s annual general meeting on 31 March 2023.

To ensure an orderly transition between his board roles and comply with competition regulations and considerations, Daniel Kjørberg Siraj withdraws from board work in Veidekke effective immediately and will formally resign from Veidekke's board of directors on 31 March 2023 in connection with NCC’s annual general meeting.
