“This is a major and exciting project which will be an important delivery for us. We are proud to have won the competition to make this delivery, and we are very grateful for the commission. Throughout the tender phase, we maintained a close working partnership with contractor HENT, and while progress during the assembly process is tough, we have worked together to prepare what is a superb project,” says Aage Tengs, General Manager at Block Berge Bygg.

The building shell will have an area of approximately 70,000 m2 and will be located at Hinna in the municipality of Stavanger. Production is due to begin in the autumn of 2022, with completion of the delivery due by January 2024.

“We are delighted to have high levels of activity and to have secured a key contract for our factory over the coming years,” Tengs concludes.
