Serving on its board of directors since 2010, Gro Bakstad has chaired Veidekke Group’s board of directors and its remuneration committee since May 2022. Bakstad is a Norwegian School of Economics graduate with degrees as a graduate economist and state-authorised public accountant.
Bakstad is the CEO of the Vy Group, before which she served as CEO/CFO of the postal and logistics group Posten Norge, where she had previously also held positions as EVP of the Network Norway and Post divisions. She has experience from various business and finance positions at Arthur Andersen, Ocean Rig and Procorp.
Gro Bakstad is also a member of the board of DNB Bank ASA.
